Firstly, set up an @icloud.com email address for your iCloud account on a device. If you have Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later installed on your PC, you should open iCloud, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks, then click Apply. Your iCloud Mail account is listed in the folder panel (also called the navigation panel) on the left side of Microsoft Outlook. To view your iCloud Mail folders in Outlook, click the triangle to the left of your iCloud email account.
If Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later is not installed, the Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks options won't appear in iCloud for Windows. Use your web browser to access iCloud Mail at https://www.icloud.com/.

My Photo Stream is a service which comes with iCloud, meant to keep your photo libraries synced on all your devices connected to the cloud service. Whenever you'll take a photo with your iOS device, a copy of it will appear in My Photo Stream folder on your PC. If you didn't set it up already just follow these steps:

  • Install iCloud for Windows if it isn’t already installed on your computer.
  • Open iCloud for Windows, then turn on Photos. My Photo Stream is set up by default. To turn it off, click Options, then turn off My Photo Stream.
  • To change the iCloud Photos location on your computer, click Options. Click Change to choose a folder, then click OK.
  • Click Apply.

The iCloud Control Panel on the PC provides similar functions to the website for sharing photos, emails, and other information. The Pictures library on your PC now should contain two additional folders. Any photos you take on your iPhone or iPad are automatically sent to the Photo Stream folder. You can also send photos to your iOS devices by placing them in the Upload folder.
The sharing of documents feature it's a little complicated as you can't transfer them directly to your PC and you must go to www.icloud.com and click on iWork.
When it comes to email, contacts and calendar you should know that this features will work only integrated with Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later. More importantly, it will only works with Apple's me.com email addresses – which means you have to create an entirely new email address.
